Taipei - Ximending

We had no plans for the night, since we needed to wake up early the next day to catch our morning train. So we took the train to Ximending. I really like all the bright neon signboards around the area, feels very foreign to me since there weren't many neon signboards in Singapore.

There are many food choices to choose at Ximending! From chicken to noodles to cafes to milk tea. The first food we tried at Ximending was crispy chicken nugget from i973. We bought a small serving, which cost NT60.

Reminded me of Myeongdong since there is a huge Uniqlo there too.

Tried ginger tea for the first time. Didn't like that spicy (?) taste after drinking.

They were selling Ice Milo (from Singapore) for NT45, pretty expensive.

The next food we tried was oyster omelette from 365 Taiwan Xiaochi. It was very different from Singapore's. Very starchy and the more we ate, the more bloated we are. Didn't manage too finish everything. I prefer Singapore's oyster omelette because we can taste the egg instead of just starch.

Cute pretty golden retriever.

I was really surprised and happy to see Coco in Taiwan! When I first drank Coco's Hot Chocolate in China 2 years ago, I fell in love with the drink. Drank it almost everyday back then. The last time I drank was during my USA trip with my family in May. Please try Coco drinks if you happen to see any!
